Kupwara, Feb 6: A tragic road accident in Choutipora Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district claimed the life of a man this evening.
According to reports, Parvaiz Ahmed Zarger, son of Ghulam Mohammad and a resident of Lach Mawer, was riding his scooty when he met with the accident. Parvaiz, a shopkeeper by profession, sustained critical injuries and was rushed to GMC Handwara for treatment. Unfortunately, doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, though the exact cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
